It seems that there was a guest change for this Shanghai concert, that’s why the new permit needs to be issued, but it hasn’t so he can’t perform. and GD’s performances aren’t affected since it hasn’t changed. Yes. In China, concerts have to be approved by the government so who is performing, what songs performed have to be listed out accurately. if they catch someone performing without their prior approval, the concert will be stopped, huge fines will be charged and the artist will no longer be allowed to perform in China again. anyway, staff just updated that Seungri is unlikely to appear on stage tonight (that means he can’t even talk/MC-ing)

YG weibo announced that Seungri’s performance at GD’s concert in Shanghai is cancelled.

It’s because the performance license/permit for Seungri that needed for concerts in China has not been issued so he can’t perform. However, he can still show up on stage but not sing/perform.

130524 Seungchan’s Diary Update

Today is the show recording for NTV. Chono-san (Chono Masahiro) and Tomio-san (Umezawa Tomio) were also there and they both took care of me ^^ It is the very first time that I get to work with them.

In Japan, Chono-san is a very well-known wrestler. He is also a very charismatic man. I remember watching 「ダウンタウンのガキの使いやあらへんで」 (Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende) last year and there was a match between Chono-san and Tsukitei-san (Hōsei Tsukitei). Honestly, I thought Chono-san was a scary person after seeing his wrestling moves…but I changed my mind after meeting him in person today, he’s actually a very gentle person ^^

Tomio-san is a very professional entertainer. He’s also an actor, a singer, and an artist who’s always in the lead. Tomio-san spoke to me formally during the entire time. Although he’s older than me, he still spoke to me in a honorific way T.T

After meeting them in person, I finally understand why so many people praise them for being so remarkable. Even though I can’t really use language to explain this, I really think that they both have very strong and proud spirits. And that is also why people often say that Tomio-san and Chono-san have a lot of irresistible charms. I really want to have a strong spirit like them.

All the challenges and goals that I set for myself is just like a very high mountain right now. And one of my biggest worries is the amount of time that I need in order to conquer it… 

Later at night, I also met Hakata Hanamaru-san and Hakata Daikichi-san for the very first time. I’ve been interested in learning the Hakata dialect recently, so I’ve asked them to teach me ^^ 

I really want to go to Fukuoka right now, everyone’s so friendly~ But since there’s not enough time…I’ll use this time to study the Hakata dialect so I can be prepared for next time! Everyone, please look forward to the show! *¥(^o^)/*

130523 Seungchan’s Diary Update

I’m here in Japan again!
To me, Japan no longer feels like a foreign country. And on top of that, it’s always sunny whenever I come here! In fact, the weather is also very nice today!

My job for the day was to record for Downtown DX. Once again, I met with Hamada-san (Masatoshi Hamada), who took care of me when I went on 「浜ちゃんが！」last time. I really like Hamada-san ^^ He’s very nice! Also, Matsumoto-san (Hitoshi Matsumoto) really is a genius! Everything he says is funny. My stomach hurts from laughing so hard at his jokes! I worked really hard for today’s show as well. So everyone, please look forward to it!

After the show recording for Downtown DX, I also guested on MTV Karaoke Chart. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Arisa-chan (Arisa Urahama). And today, I’ve met Joy-san for the very first time ^^ D-LITE-san has also had a great time on this show before. Thank you so much for taking care of us!
